Modjeska Ranch Rescue is a non-profit rescue
organization based in south Orange County, California.
It operates as an all-volunteer rescue dedicated to
finding great homes for neglected and abandoned animals.
The organization was founded by Russell
and Teresa Taylor in 2001. They opened the door of their
heart to helping the helpless and ended up opening up
their home for abandoned animals. Since 2001 this couple,
in tandem with community support, have placed over 3000
animals into a new homes. The success rate of this rescue
is amazing. Please take time to look at our success

Pets
We welcome you to explore the pages of photos
on our website of animals that are looking for a second
chance at a good life. All of our pets are thoroughly
checked by a local veterinarian, given updated shots,
spayed or neutered. Sick or injured animals receive
medical treatment until healthy. Only healthy animals
are released for adoption. Click

Adoption
Locations
Adoptions are held in our community on a scheduled
and appointment basis. Cat adoptions are held at Petsmart
in Rancho Santa Margarita (30515 Avenida De Las Flores)
and at Petsmart in El Toro (El Toro Road at Rockfield).
Dog adoptions are regularly scheduled at Petsmart. Appointments
to view the dogs can be made by calling 714-649-4406.

Pet
History
It is our policy to get as much information as
possible regarding each animal. Our staff evaluates
each animal and assesses what type of home is best.
Based upon these findings we will post that information
about the animal. This policy assists both MRR and you
in placing the right animal into the right home environment.
For example: some dogs are wonderful with little children,
others are not. We will not place certain breeds where
there are small children.
