Russell
and Teresa Taylor
Born in Liverpool, England. Russell served as
President of Britain’s most famous service franchise
company with the responsibility for operations in ten
countries. In 1986 he moved to Orange County, California
to head up an acquisitions and franchising group.
Teresa Taylor was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio
with a houseful of seven brothers. She remembers growing
up with animals as a part of her life. For several years
she was employed by Beatrice and found herself transferred
to Southern California. Eventually she was hired by
a European service group and served as Personnel Director.
Russell married Teresa and purchased a four-acre home
in Modjeska Canyon. They have three daughters (Rochelle,
Chantal and Nicole). The Taylors founded Modjeska Ranch
Rescue in 2001 in order to offer animals a second chance
for a good life. Their home and land have become a refuge
for abandoned animals

It's a
Dog's Life
A new book by Modjeska Ranch Rescue founder.
Teresa Taylor tells the heart-warming story of Annie,
and abandoned Australian cattle dog who lost her home
and found a new one. It is a heart-breaking tale of
truth that shows the journey of this ten-year-old dog
as she travels from a place of loneliness to a home
of love. The book is written in the voice of Annie and
from the heart of Teresa Taylor.
