Cockapoo Mindy Mindy is a
female Cockapoo. She was found in a crate abandoned
by her owner. This little girl needs someone understanding
and loving to help her through her confusion. She
is cute and adorable but will require training.
It would be best for her to be placed in a home
with children above the age of nine years. Please
consider adopting this wonderful little dog. All
shots updated, spayed, flea control.
Chihuahua Benny Benny is a
7 year-old male Chihuahua who will make a great
companion for the right person. He is confused about
his circumstances and needs someone with a kind
heart and patience to help him through this puzzling
time in his life. Benny gets along well with other
dogs. Neutered, all shots updated, flea control.
Chihuahua Mix Hendrix Hendrix is
a two-year-old little girl with a cute personality.
Her owner passed away and now Hendrix needs to find
a new family to love. She is housebroken, knows
some basic commands, responsive to kindness. We
will place her with a single, couple or family with
older children. Hendrix enjoys playing with toys
and will try to engage you in her games. Very sweet
but is somewhat shy. On occasion she will seek out
a safe place… under a bed or under a table.
She enjoys riding in a car and is quite calm as
the passenger. Please consider giving Hendrix a
new home. She is spayed and her shots are current.
Terrier Mix Sammy Meet a very
sweet 3- month-old Sammy. He is adorable. This little
guy was left in a box at the door of a local animal
shelter. He sleeps quietly through the night in
a crate, in process of housebreaking. He will need
training… as do all puppies! He will grow
up to be a small to medium size dog. Sammy is cute,
affectionate, playful. Please come and meet Sammy.
Dachshund Mix Holly This is a
two-year-old girl who seems to do well with everyone
and every dog that she meets. She is a social canine.
She was saved from death row of a local shelter
as her “days” were up. Holly is sweet
and deserves to live. We are looking for someone
who will give her the opportunity to be a member
of the family. She can be placed with older children
in the home. She is spayed and all of her shots
are updated. Come and meet this doxie mix…
you will fall in love!.
Poodle Toby Toby is a
1 ½ year old purebred Poodle who is playful
and fun. This is a male (neutered) who was found
wandering the streets of Los Angeles and was taken
in by a good Samaritan. Toby arrived at the rescue
and immediately seemed to enjoy socializing with
the other dogs. Currently we are working on housebreaking
and he is doing very well. He is young, energetic
and enjoys life! He will make a wonderful pet for
the right person or family. All of his shots are
updated and he is ready to find his new family.
Norwich Terrier Katie Katie is a
four-year-old Norwich Terrier who arrived at a shelter…very
pregnant. Due to full capacity they could not take
her. Modjeska Ranch Rescue came to their assistance
and took Katie. More Terriers will be born very
soon. Once Katie has delivered and cared for her
babies she will be placed up for adoption. We will
post a birth announcement and photos of the little
ones.
Rat Terrier Spot and Roxie Spot is a
male, 7 month old, purebred Rat Terrier. He is friendly,
fun and energetic. Spot is housebroken, crate trained
and currently receiving basic command training.
He will require a secure fenced yard at his new
home. Spot is neutered and his shots are current.
Spot arrived at the rescue with his sister, Roxie.
Their owner stated he could no longer keep them
and he was unable to give them time and attention.
Roxie is the sister
of Spot. She is a little shy at first but warms
up once she feels secure about the situation. She
is housebroken and crate trained. She is receiving
basic training with her brother and that will have
to be reinforced with her new owner. Terriers have
a lot of energy to go with all of that personality.
Roxie is not a barker so that is a big plus on her
side. Again we recommend a secure fenced yard at
her new home. She is spayed and all shots are current.
Doberman Cody Cody is two-year-old
male Doberman. He is housebroken and has received
basic dog training. He is a wonderful dog but very
strong. We are recommending that Cody be adopted
by someone with big dog experience and that children
in the home be age twelve or older. Cody enjoys
riding in a car and is quite well behaved as the
canine passenger. He is a very handsome dog and
wants to be loved. His new owner needs to understand
the importance of discipline and giving him attention.
He was in a local shelter and became very stressed
out in the kennel. At our rescue he is improving
greatly and is now ready to find a new home. Cody
is neutered and all of his shots are current.
